After a few minutes of calming, I felt a straw being put to my lips. Jasper smiled lovingly. I drank the whole thing in less than two minutes, then croaked out, "Thank you. Love you, Jazz."
He held another straw to my lips as he whispered, "I love you too, Darlin'. Drink for me, Sug, before you get too weak."
I nodded, then drank two more cups before I started feeling more myself. Edward and Carlisle never let go of me, choosing to kiss and swirl their tongues against my skin as I recovered. I noticed the water running in the bathroom, so Jasper immediately explained, "We're running the bath for you, Darlin'. You asked the girls to do it a minute ago. Part of the ritual you need to do."
I remembered the flash I got, so I said softly, "Yes, I remember now. I got a flash during the last few seconds of my orgasm. The girls need to bathe me, then the guys need to dry and lotion me before I gather the four energies. Each mate needs to be with me when I gather the elements. Jasper for earth and Major for air. I need to face a certain direction when I gather each element. When I'm done, I need to come into the cabin from the front door.”
After a breath, I continued, “At that time, Alice will lead the girls that are helping make the outfit to their work areas. Char will be the only female not helping them. Emmett will escort the girls back to the house, while Carlisle and Edward stay here. The bed needs fresh linens. The silver satin ones in the closet with the embroidery that was supposed to be a surprise from Alice.”
I gave her an ‘I’m sorry’ look for ruining the surprise, then continued, “Char will need to take a warm soapy cloth to me once an hour during the transformation, then the guys will need to dry and lotion me again. The combination has to be all four of the scents each time. Before each time that Char bathes me, Carlisle needs to check the position of the babies, then make sure my cervix is intact. Once he's done, Edward will need to work his magic on my hips, tailbone, and pelvis to keep them pliable, otherwise they will stiffen up a certain amount, which will make pregnancy and delivery progression very difficult. The ones here will need to alternate who feeds every two hours. Make sure it's done before Carlisle checks me. I'm sorry you guys are going to be so busy, but it has to be done exactly as I say. If one thing goes wrong, the babies or I could be in real danger.”
I turned to Carlisle, then continued seriously, “Carlisle, if my cervix seems even the slightest bit softer at any point, you need to redo the venom process you did before. The venom doesn't need to be blessed again because the whole process was blessed the first time. Make sure you swirl the venom in the cup several times to mix it before you start the process. If the venom looks to be sparkling more than normal venom would, swirl the venom until it evens out. All soaps, lotions, and oils used have to be the combination of all four scents. At the mark of the last hour, Alice will call one of you. Make sure that as soon as she hangs up, you put me in the vampire cuffs and chains in the center of the room. Jake, can you hear me?"
He belly crawled to me, then licked my hand when I stuck it out. I smiled softly, "I love you too, My Protector. Your job during this is really important. If something goes wrong and you go out of sight range of me, our connection is broken. You need to be in easy reaching distance and be able to see me during the whole process... from the moment they bite, until the time my eyes open and I recognize you. The whole round of the pack that is here on the property needs to be surrounding the cabin. Make sure they stay in wolf form, and that all three rounds have equal time surrounding the cabin. From midnight to midnight. Quil will keep the elders updated, and you will relay information to Sam on sending the next round.”
I felt Jake nuzzle my hand, then I continued, “None that are able to shift will want to be out of their wolf form. Have the wolves on the rez stick with Sam... none will need to patrol, because I know nothing with happen to the protection fields. No attacks will happen, and the residents of the rez will automatically stay inside the field. They'll just have a feeling they need to stay on the rez, so they'll go with it. Quil will notify the elders as soon as they bite me, so the elders can begin their ceremony. Right after the guys lotion me each hour, you need to place your muzzle on my tummy and breathe deeply for a minute. Then you need to lick both of my hands. It's part of our connection, something I recognize as purely you. I'll recognize that you're here, and it will keep me calm. I know we can do this, Jake. Billy was right. If we weren't meant to be the goddess and protector, it would have been born in someone else. You were always meant for me, Jake. You can do this, I know it. Please know deep down that I love you, and I would have wanted no one else to be my protector. It's always been you."
He licked my hand with a nod. Edward whispered into my shoulder as he ran his lips against my skin, "He knows you are his destiny. He said he wouldn't have it any other way either. He loves you. Always has, always will. He wants you to know that Sam heard what you said through the mind link, and is calling all the wolves as we speak. He is honored to be a part of this, and was sorry he couldn't tell you before of his still phasing. It was a decision all the elders made together."
I nodded, "He should know that I don't blame him. I'm not mad, I just wish he could have told me, so I wouldn't have been so blind-sided by Charlie and the elders knowing of our relationships. I could never be mad."
Edward kissed my neck, "He knows, Sweetheart. He knows. Your bath is ready. Who would you like to carry you to the girls? I'd rather you not walk yet. You were in your ecstasy state for over 7 minutes. You'll be very weak still."
I nodded as I whispered, "I drained all the energy I needed to and then some. I'll be fine, though. I'm where I need to be for the beginning of the ritual, now. We're right on time for my mates to bite me at the stroke of midnight. They'll need to feed from me just before midnight, so that the feedings are on track through my changing. Can you get Peter for me? He needs to be the one to hand me to Char. I want my Jazz first, though."
Edward kissed down my spine, then backed away. Jasper sat next to Carlisle, who carefully slid me onto Jasper's lap, making sure not to jostle me. When I was in position, Carlisle kissed me softly, then got up. I felt Peter kissing up the trail Edward made a minute ago, so I smiled into Jasper's neck. I breathed deeply once Peter and Jasper were surrounding me.
After a few minutes, I whispered, "Thank you for not being upset. I would have been torn apart if it would have been the two of you. I'll be able to take both of you again after my turning... I'll be strong enough for you, then. I needed that time with both of them. Em knows there's no chance of me taking him like that, with or without another partner, and my relationship with Carlisle and Edward is more complicated. Both with my past with Edward, and the multiple roles that they both have. Does that make sense?"
Peter kissed then nipped my shoulder, saying in a slight whisper, "Kitten, we fully understand. We would never be upset that ya took ‘em together intimately. If we'd felt the tiniest bit of trepidation or jealousy, we woulda spoken to ya when ya asked us. We both figured you'd want ‘em in that way at some point. We love ya immensely, Kitten. Please don't think that we feel left out. We understand completely, and only want ya happy."
He ran his nose up my shoulder to my neck as he inhaled my scent, then kissed the soft spot behind my ear. Jasper kissed me slowly, lovingly, then breathed against my lips as our eyes bored into each other, "Darlin, I love you. So very much. I'm never gonna give you up, My Mate. Let's let Peter get you to the girls before we start running short on time."
I nodded, then kissed him lovingly.
