I lay my head down

Listening to the peace and serenity

I hear the voices of those before me

Calling from a distant shore

My fear fades away

Into the darkness of the night

The moon rises

Casting a silver glow upon the sea

A ship arrives to take me home

Across the great divide

My soul passes into the shadows

Out of time and into your memory

Fear not for me

I have not come to an end

For my time has come to begin again

Remember me

My dreams and desires

We shall one day meet once more

Those distant white shores beckon

For me to travel home

into the west.
